"Children Are The Future! One Cool Earth allows children to explore nature, gardening, getting their hands in the soil, picking radishes and carrots to eat that they've grown themselves. They can enjoy the fresh air and sunshine on their skin, see butterflies visit the plants for food and nectar, understanding how the rain affects the garden. In the social sphere, I've seen how the students are able to interact in an informal setting, planting seeds, pulling weeds, asking questions of the OCE staff, taking home vegetables to share with family. One Cool Earth is such a wonderful program for the students. Classroom lessons in science and math mean more when students have had hands-on experience in the outdoors! One Cool Earth is a wonderful resource for our schools to make a richer learning experience for our children!"
